Description

The Ukrainian aviation company carries out the design, testing and production of aviation units. Additive manufacturing is now better known as 3D printing plays an important role in weight reduction, material strengthening and design optimization in the aviation industry. Therefore, the company is ready to borrow 3D printing technology from industrial partners or R&D institutes and introduce it into the production of aviation units and assemblies. The aircraft manufacturer is ready to develop technologies for electron beam melting and direct laser sintering of metals such as nickel and titanium.

Expertise sought

The Ukrainian aircraft company carries out the mass production of the following aviation units and assemblies:

	adjustable and non-adjustable axial-piston pumps with flow rates from 2 to 200 l/min and pressure up to 38 MPa and above, service life corresponding to object;

	hydraulic motors with shaft torques from 2 to 150 Nm, service life corresponding to object;

	drive-generators with output power from 30 kW to 120 kW, service life corresponding to object;

	AC and DC electrically actuated pumping stations with pressure up to 38,0 MPa and above, flow rate from 2 to 120 l/min, service life corresponding to object;

	autonomous, backed up, complex electro-hydraulic actuators with force up to 160 kN and above, service life corresponding to object;

	electro-mechanical actuators of reciprocating action with force up to 40 kN and rotating action with shaft torque up to 220 Nm, service life corresponding to object.

Requested partner

The Ukrainian company is looking for technical experts in the field of manufacturing parts and aggregates of aviation and space technology using 3D printing. A technology partner should have proven work experience in creating of assemblies and parts by 3D printing exclusively for the aviation industry. The partner must have a deep understanding of the features of metal alloy processing by 3D printing and careful observance to dimensional tolerances and strength characteristics of parts that are used in aircraft units. Partner is expected to provide training and initial support in implementing 3D technology for production different aviation aggregates. The companies will cooperate in the framework of a technical cooperation agreement in the implementation and testing of 3D technology for printing parts and components of the aviation aggregates.
