Summary

A Greek SME has developed an advanced simulation in-house software package which is applicable in various sectors such as aerospace & aeronautics, healthcare, industrial equipment, oil & gas. The company is currently looking for cooperation with other relevant entities that could contribute to further develop the software by bringing new engineering challenges, under a technical cooperation agreement.

Description

The Greek SME company has been established in 2014. The company operates in the global market and has partnerships with engineering companies, product manufacturers, research centers and universities. It provides state of the art simulation solutions throughout the product development cycle, from concept design to prototype testing. The company has developed an advanced software package by using simulation to understand how products will actually perform under a broad spectrum of life scenarios. The company can reduce design uncertainty and the risk of failure, leading to a much higher probability that the final product will be successful. Simulating an entire product early in the design cycle, can address the most likely sources of system failure before those sources are locked into the design.

The company serves industries such as marine, renewable energy sources, aerospace & aeronautics, automotive, healthcare, construction and industrial equipment, superconducting accelerator magnets, oil & gas. The company provides computer aided design, structural health monitoring, computational fluid dynamics and multiphysics finite element analysis. The simulation offered can give solutions to various engineering problems such as multi-cracking fracture mechanics problems, outdoor & underwater acoustics, soil mechanics, radiation and scattering etc.

The company is currently looking for partners that have a new product or model in the fields of maritime, oil & gas, soil mechanics (e.g. earthquake waves), outdoor & underwater acoustics (e.g. infrasound, noise pollution). The company would like to use this new product or model in its early design cycle in order to validate the simulation results and develop further it’s software tool. The Greek company is expecting to compare the results of the tests of these products with the simulation data produced. Then to fine-tune the simulation. In this way, the company is looking for cooperation with other entities in order to develop and improve further its in-house software package under technical cooperation agreement.

Expertise sought

Engineering companies, product manufacturers, research centers and universities with technical expertise in the industries of maritime, oil & gas, soil mechanics, outdoor & underwater acoustics

Requested partner

The company is looking for other entities (engineering companies, product manufacturers, research centers and universities) in order to develop, test and improve further its in-house software package and foster strategic collaboration by joining relevant clusters.

The company is looking for partners mainly in the industries of maritime, oil & gas, soil mechanics (e.g. earthquake waves), outdoor & underwater acoustics (e.g. infrasound, noise pollution) that have developed a product (in its early design cycle) and available to share some real data. This dat will be used by the Greek company in order to validate the simulation results and develop further their software tool. The type of the partnership considered is the technical cooperation agreement. The collaborator will benefit from the simulation analysis that will be available, concerning the existing product or technical challenge.
