French company expert in 3D prototyping and production of electric boards is searching for a partner experienced in micro-engineering / micro-motorisation in order to create a new valve

The French SME is specialised in studying and production of electronic boards & components, as well as 3D prototyping. It exists since 2015.
In order for the company to take part to the next European financing calls, the company wants to collaborate with a partner, expert on micro-motorisation. The goal is to create a small-diameter motorised valve with specific features. This partnership will take place under manufacturing, technical cooperation or research cooperation agreement.

Description

The French SME has 6 employees and is specialised in study and production of electronic cards & components, as well as 3D prototyping. It exists since 2015 yet the companys’ CEO has been working in the development of complex electronic devices and measurement tools for water management for about 30 years.

The company makes most of its turnover abroad and is used to international collaborations under European calls, especially Eureka and H2020.



In order to take part to the next calls for European financing, they are willing to collaborate with another SME, expert in micro-motorisation. The aim is to create a small-diameter motorised valve with specific features (5turn-valve, autonomy > 10 years ...). This development would go under Research cooperation agreement, technical cooperation agreement or manufacturing agreement as the goal is to co-develop a technical product. Both expertises will have to combine in order for the product to meet the clients requirements.



The partner will have to endore the following missions as part of the overall project :



- Motorisation principles study

- Motor power calculation

- Analysis of the needed gearbox

- Integration with the plasturgy team

- Prototyping and preseries

- Production of the motorisation



One of the key criteria is to optimise the electric consumption of the valve for it to have a minimum 10 years automony. It has to be a 5-turn valve.



The final client will collaborate on the project and other applications in the same fields are already detected. Benefits for the company and its partner will be a gain in market share, probable significant increase in Turnover and the development of a new valve with divers application fields.

The French SME is searching for a potential partner which has a strong expertise in micro-mechanic and / or micro-motorisation.
