Description

Slovak company with 30 years history carrying out work of geological survey and scientific work is looking for foreign partners for deep research and development of technical solutions in the field of cooling and heating of premises, also power generation. 



Common research and development should be focused on the method of cooling rooms by using low soil temperature in the near-surface layer of the earth and/or cooling rooms using a low water temperature in the depths of water bodies.

 

A) low soil temperature - in the proposed method, the room is cooled by atmospheric air. The cooling of the air occurs in the near-surface layer of the earth. The principle of temperature distribution of underground rocks with depth is used. Namely, the fact that the temperature change of rocks in temperate latitudes obeys the following regularity. In a summer time from the surface of the earth to the zone of constant temperature its values decrease and then increase in accordance with the geothermal gradient. 



Daily fluctuations in air temperature practically do not affect at a shallow depth. The zone of constant daily temperatures (PTST) is located at a depth of 0.8 -1.2 meters from the surface of the earth. In the hot summer time, its temperature is 15-20 degrees below the air temperature. Therefore, if air is supplied to the PTA, it will cool down to the temperature of the surrounding rocks and it can be used to cool buildings.  



B) low water temperature - in the proposed method, the room is cooled by cool atmospheric air. The cooling of this air takes place at a sufficient depth of the reservoir, lake, sea or ocean.



The idea of this method is to use natural cold water taken from the depth of the reservoir uses the natural differences of water temperature in accordance with the depth of the reservoir. This pattern is manifested even in tropical latitudes. With this method the room is cooled directly by air and the efficiency of this process, is regulated by the amount of air supplied. 



C) using the internal heat of the earth through its transmission by atmospheric air - this invention relates to the use of natural renewable resources for heating water and buildings. Atmospheric air is pumped to a depth with a high temperature of the enclosing rocks (more than 40° C) and after a certain time is heated, due to the natural heat of the earth, to this temperature. Then through the production well is fed to the surface. The air must be heated during its movement from the well 1 to the well 2. The number of wells may vary depending on the technical and natural conditions of the reservoir.



The listed ways of using natural resources are registered in Slovakia and company has registered various patents.



Company was founded in 1988 and their main objective is the construction and fitting out of residential and industrial buildings, starting with geological surveys, elaboration of project documentation and delivery of building materials and technologies. They specially devote to the development of scientific and patented methods in the field of securing the heating of buildings, cleaning of bottom and waste water from petroleum products.



In the field of geological works, they perform engineering, geological and hydrological surveys and environmental and scientific research. Company owns all the necessary equipment to perform engineering geological survey, such as a drilling rig and a dynamic penetration device.



At this moment company is active mainly in Slovakia, Russia and Ukraine. With the aim of find new markets and new partners, company is looking for foreign companies for detailed joint theoretical analysis, research capacities and development of a technical solution, the creation of a pilot installation and industrial technologies within research cooperation and/or technical cooperation agreement. Company is also ready to sell a patent under license agreement.
