Summary

A Slovak inventor has developed an innovative technology - a method of straightening of flat component parts. The proposed method of straightening of flat parts could find its application within the straightening of plane rotary and non-rotating parts from metalic and non-metalic materials. The inventor is looking for industrial partners to cooperate with via financial agreement or via license agreement.

Description

The proposed method of straightening of flat parts could find its application within the straightening of plane rotary and non-rotating parts from metalic and non-metalic materials. 



The core of this technology solution consists in a process of the measurement of flatness of component parts, which is made firstly. Based on these measurements in different positions of component parts, the calculation is provided - the higher the inequality to the one side is, the higher also the tension to the opposite side of the component part. Contacts pushes into the component part in particular straightening points and stretch it to the opposite side according to calculated sizes of needed plastic deformations of component part. Afterwards, the pressing into the component part is stopped. This method is also suitable for straightening of smaller flat component parts. Within the straightening of large component parts it is needed to change the locations of measuring and straightening of the component parts. 



This technical solution is explained at the picture marked with number 1 and 2. Number 1 describes the method of measuring and straightening of circular component part. Number 2 describes the method of measuring and straightening of rectangular shape component part. 



The Slovak inventor prefers a cooperation via financial agreement (the inventor seeks financing for a project to further develop the innovation) or via license agreement (the Slovak inventor is offering a license/looking for licensees). These types of cooperation were chosen by inventor, because they are fitting the best todays stage of development of this technology.

Advantages and Innovations

- Currently known straightening systems are using the method of stretching by the passing of component part between straightening rolls. By passing of component part through forming roll comes to a plastic deformation and, thus also to a straightening of component part. This method is not suitable for smaller flat component parts. Above mentioned technology solution can easily eliminate this limitation.
