Summary

A research company from Poland is offering advanced, highly resistant ceramic composites based on zirconium dioxide, ensuring ultra-high resistance parameters. Application in various industries is possible. Commercial agreement with technical assistance is considered.

Description

A company from Poland acts as an independent research unit and works on innovative solutions in structural design and materials. Most of them have already been applied and tested in the industry. They specialise in engineering projects in the field of advanced structural ceramic materials ensuring very high mechanical strength, ultimate wear resistance, chemical resistance and capability to work in extreme temperatures reaching 2500 degrees Celsius.

Currently the company is interested in commercialization of innovative ceramic composites based on zirconium dioxide, with proven high resistance to cold cracking and hydrothermal corrosion. These features allow to use this ceramic composite as a structural material in machines, devices and production line components in the automotive, aerospace, power engineering, metallurgical, mining and chemical industries.

Commercial agreement with technical assistance will be considered.

Advantages and Innovations

The offered product has specific mechanical properties that cannot be guaranteed by other materials available on the market. This ceramic composite ensures higher resistance to cold cracking, and also higher mechanical and chemical resistance in hydrothermal conditions.

The Al2O3 – ZrO2 ceramic composites are produced using an energy efficient technology based on special methods of preparation of zirconium dioxide powders.
