Description

A Polish company with over 20 years of market experience and over 40 years of overall experience in the dental surgery branch. Inventor of stomatologic tools and treatment methods, dynamically developing and introducing 2-3 new products each year.



The product portfolio includes special tools used in different branches of stomatology: dental surgery, endodontic procedures, periodontology, prosthetics and cariology.



One of the recently introduced innovations is a series of perioscalpels used in dental surgery for tooth and root extraction.



In the present state of medical knowledge and dental art, the emphasis in tooth or root extraction is gradually changing from the operative procedure to preoperative treatment, which means that the reconstruction of the bony tissues reaches the initial bone level surrounding the root. The patient preserves moor bone for good denture stability or for implants.



Perioscalpels consist of a handle and a blade connected with a screw. The blade has a 10 mm long concavity fitting the shape of most common tooth roots and a thin convexity with gradually increasing thickness that increases its strength and stability. The blade is 2.4 mm wide and 0.1 mm thick, so it is easy to insert the tool into very narrow spaces between teeth - 0.2 mm without tissue damage. The perioscalpes are offered in a set of 3: left, straight and right and also in two special-purpose versions (distal and slim). 



The perioscalpel should be sterilised in the autoclave, like other surgical instruments. The blade edge may be sharpened with a diamond rubber for polishing, abrasive paper disc or Arkansas-type stone.
