A Lithuanian SME that is a manufacturer of various optical coatings and optical laser components is looking for laser developers and manufacturers or other hi-tech optical sector companies interested in applying the optical component coating development and manufacturing expertise of the Lithuanian company in their technological projects. The right partner is sought for a technical or research cooperation agreement.

Description

This Lithuanian SME was established in 2009 as a spin-off company and in total holds 16 years of experience in manufacturing of optical coating and components. Currently, main activities of the company include manufacturing of metallic coatings, dielectric coatings, coatings on crystals, variable coatings and final optical components as well as re-polishing and re-coating used optical components. 



The company uses a variety of technologies for optical component coating: Resistive Thermal Evaporation, Electron Beam Evaporation, Magnetron sputtering Deposition, allowing to cover the spectral range from 190 nm to 12000 nm with substrate size ranging from 0.1 mm to 500 mm in diameter. Use of these technologies results in production of the following optical components:

-	Metallic coated mirrors

-	Laser/nonlinear crystals with low-loss high-reflectivity (HR), antireflection (AR), partially mirror (PR), wavelength separator (W) and broadband antireflection (BBAR) coatings, contact layers and/or electrodes

-	Optical glass substrates – plane, concave, convex, conical, prism and etc. – with dielectric thin-film coatings

-	Laser-system optical components like dielectric coated AR windows, HR mirrors, variable reflectivity mirrors, spectral separators and filters



The company is looking for laser and laser system developers and manufacturers as well as other hi-tech optical sector companies with particular advanced optical system development projects in mind for cooperation with the Lithuanian company, employing its expertise in developing and manufacturing optical coatings and components under a technical or a research cooperation agreement.

Advantages and Innovations

Optical components or various shapes can be manufactured from wide range of substrate materials. Company’s experience in the field allows for a rapid prototyping of custom optical coatings. These coatings can be used in a wide spectral range between 190 nm and 14000 nm, applied on coating areas between 0,1 mm and 500 mm in diameter.
