A Greek SME IT company has developed an integrated hospitality platform for both individual hotels and multi-property hotel groups.
It is specifically designed to optimize the internal communication, streamline hotel operations and provide better services to the customers. Partners active within the hotel industry and/or accommodation services are sought in order to implement the proposed solution. Description

In most hotels the daily operations are done with the use of paper, email and phone calls. Hundreds of hours are spent, the access to information is poor, and the level of satisfaction is low. Increasing efficiency, effectiveness and the cost reduction are some of the most important challenges that every hotelier has to face. At the same time, increasing the level of customer satisfaction, providing better services and increasing revenues are equally important issues. 

There are existing software solutions in the market such as property management system providers and guest mobile applications but they constitute just partial solutions. The proposed platform combines specially-tailored modules in order to organize and track hotel operations, improve internal communication, optimize processes and provide better services to their customers. The biggest strength of the platform is that supports real time dashboard delivered to the user from multiple sources of operations (housekeeping, lost & found, financials, guest data & requests, task list, eforms, repairs). It comprises a single software solution with extensive functionalities that can make all the processes smoother and streamlined.

More analytically, it consists of two different but complementary mobile (based in iOS, Android) applications for the hotel staff and guests.

For the hotel staff, the application includes modules for faster and personal communication with the guests and better organizing, handling and streamlining the hotel's internal processes. Modules are related to almost all daily operational processes including lost and found, repairs, tasks, notifications, housekeeping, checklists, surveys, e-forms, guest requests. There is also a web version of the same application with further functionalities. Both of them are offered under the software as a service (SaaS) delivery model.

For the client the application provides various value added functionalities and services, such as immediate service requests (e.g. room service, taxi), booking engine for in-hotel services (e.g. spa, restaurants), hotel activities schedule, lost & found, push notifications about offers, excursions etc. and direct communication with the hotel staff (i.e. reception). It is free to use by guests of partnering hotels.

Furthermore, there is also a detailed dashboard specifically for the managers that allows for real-time monitoring of each employee’s activity, a measure of their effectiveness and a detailed reporting of hotel activity in general.

The Greek company is looking to expand the technology to other companies from the tourism and hotel industries that are interested to install and use the proposed solution. The Greek company will provide support for integrating the proposed platform into existing hotel management systems of each partner. The type of desired cooperation is commercial agreement with technical assistance.

It is fully customizable and can integrate in real time with existing property management systems (PMS) of partnering hotels keeping everything in sync and lowering the cost of acquisition.
Additionally, it can be used as a tool for marketing purposes promoting various personalized offers, push notifications, excursions etc to the guests. It supports also service requests and booking engine for several hotel various services (e.g. spa, restaurants). Thus, it becomes a great way to boost incremental revenues from in-hotel services and cross-selling.
Moreover, the direct access to information ensures the seamless flow of interdepartmental information. This helps hotel staff to better coordinate the operational functions across all the departments. Tasks can be easily created, distributed to employees and verified. Problems/repairs can be recorded in only one step, documented with pictures and worked off in a structured way by the responsible staff. In simple words, it automates and streamlines operations, saves man-hours and helps serve guests better.
Guests’ experience is also enhanced through making them engage and interact more with the hotel’s products and services.
The hoteliers can proactively manage complaints and get positive feedback.
In addition, the offered technology is constantly expanding with the addition of new modules, resulting from the recording of hotel needs to make it a useful work tool.
