Summary

A Spanish technology centre, has developed a new management platform for electrical vehicles (EV) recharging networks, based on artificial intelligence and big data technologies. The system allows the integration of the points of charge under open charge point protocol (OCPP) and an optimal customization level. 
The centre is seeking for companies in the field of electromobility for commercial cooperation and license agreements. New partners for further developments are also welcome.

Description

The Spanish research and technology (R&D) centre, established in 1989, has developed a new management platform for electrical vehicles recharging networks, that allows the integration of electrical vehicles (EV) recharging points under Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP)  and under “hubject’s open intercharge” Protocol (OICP). 

This software tool integrates the roles of users, loading operators and recharge points managers inside the same platform. 

The platform is accessible to users through different devices:

•PC

•Smart phone

•Tablet

The platform integrates a management app, with the following features:

•	Compatible with OCPP v1.6 and earlier versions

•	Management of users, managers and points operators: registrations, cancellations, data modifications, and others.

•	Billing/Payment Module: management of pre-payment cards, and/or contract.

•	Management of recharging points: new entries, cancelled entries, and modification of data. 

•	Status monitoring of the charging points and real-time alerts

•	Register of energy consumption

•	Data storage and real-time historical data consultation

•	Visualization of charge points locations on a digital map.

•	Reservation system of charge points.

•	Multi-profile configuration for different control users, each with their own access and functionality levels.

The R&D centre is seeking for partners interested in commercial and license agreements, as companies working in the area of electromobility or EV recharging points managers. 

For testing activities and technical cooperation agreements, the centre is looking for green energy suppliers, energy regional agencies, and non-profit entities involved in EV promotion policies. 

Also, new R&D partners for further developments of the platform are sought.
