This Cyprus SME is owned and managed by professional engineers and architects and has a long experience in the construction industry and particularly in measures to limit the risk of flood damage and flood prevention.  



The SME also has a long experience in research activities and has participated in a number of national and international research projects and is active in the field of innovation in general. 



The company has developed a unique patented product which is self-operated, requiring no power, no human intervention, offering 24 hours / 7 days passive protection.  It is bottom hinged and requires little if any excavation in front of the opening to be protected.   



The flood barrier is very versatile and can be manufactured according to customer specifications (made-to-measure) and with the surface texture and colours selected by the customer.



The barriers are very versatile and are supplied in a modular form and are easy and simple to install.

All materials are non-ferrous giving the product long durability and low maintenance needs.

The main advantages of this patented self-operated product are:

•	The product is bottom hinged requiring minimum if any excavation

•	It turns to upright position before flood level reaches grade level, thus requiring no side walls or thresholds

•	When the gate is upright, the recess in the ground is fenced by a safety gate, which also serves as an arrest mechanism for debris impact

The portable version is currently the only passive portable flood barrier in the world.  Contrary to other portable flood barriers, they allow traffic to pass over the barriers after the barriers are installed.

The Cypriot SME is looking to expand its sales base and is looking for Commercial Agents (Commercial agreement with technical assistance) of its product, worldwide. 



The partners can offer the product to their clients as stand alone or part of an integrated flood protection design. The partners would prepare the design specifications (exact dimensions, material choices etc) and these would be sent to the manufacturer and the partners would receive the finished product for installation. Advice and guidance would also be provided if required to the partners. 



Exclusive rights will also be considered. 



The product can be installed to existing buildings but can also be into the design of new buildings. Therefore, potential partners could be:
