Description

The Interreg IVA 2 Mers Seas Zeeën Programme aims to develop an innovative, knowledge and research-based, as well as sustainable and inclusive, two seas area, where the natural resources are protected and green economy is promoted. The call has two crosscutting themes, SMEs and the maritime dimension. 

A UK university is interested in applying to the stream related to SMEs and includes one other UK enterprise. The academic seeking partners offers expertise in financial and industrial economics and has a current research focus on the investment and financing of SMEs, and their interplay with public policies at both UK and international levels.

They are seeking SMEs from coastal areas in South-East England, Belgium (Flanders) and the Netherlands, or SME-related organisations that might be associations or stand-alone firms, to share their experiences and data on their daily activities with local policy-making agencies. 

They are seeking collaboration via research development cooperation agreements.
