Summary

A French cluster organisation dedicated to cosmetic and perfumery is a leader of a European Strategic Cluster Partnership, already funded by COSME programme under COS-CLUSTER call, with the purpose of supporting internationalization and global competitiveness of European SMEs. The cluster is looking for other cluster organizations working in cosmetic and perfumery to enlarge the partnership and become part of the working groups.

Description

This French major cluster in cosmetic and perfumery sector is running a GO INTERNATIONAL project funded by COSME programme (COS-CLUSTER-2017) aiming at developing a strategy to support cosmetic and perfumery SMEs in their internationalization.



The initiative pursues the creation of an international meta-cluster involving clusters and their members, but also business network organizations in order to collaborate for innovation, market-uptake and marketing of competitive products, services and technologies.



Also, the French cluster wishes to involve future partners actively in the project via working groups for instance, to open new R&D collaborative programs. Deadline for receiving the expressions of interest June 29th. Start date: September 1st, 2018.



The COS-CLUSTER Go International project has been running since the beginning of this year. The first step of the project is to set up a mapping of the cosmetic ecosystem's needs for internationalization, that is why the consortium is interested in enlarging its partnerships and is looking for other European clusters and organisations to brainstorm and share their issues in this matter.

The French cluster runs several events on innovation, R&D and commercial opportunities with trade-fairs worldwide : the future partners will benefit from the communication strategy of a famous pure-player of the sector.

-Type of partner sought : cluster organizations developping activities related with the cosmetics and perfumery involved in any step of the value chain (raw materials, formulation, testing, manufacturing, packaging,etc.)  Potential partners are expected to have experience in accompanying their members in their strategy of internationalisation. 



- Field of expertise/experience:it is recommended to have experience in international cooperation.



- Task to be performed by the partner sought: contributions to the mapping of the SME' needs for improving their internationalization and to the building of a strategy and fostering cooperation among clusters, organizations, technology centers and SMEs.
