Description

A Turkish company, which was established in 2016, developed a method for the hazardous chemicals which are come out during the PET process. The method is useful for inhibiting hazardous chemicals such as acetaldehyde, carboxyl end groups and diethylene glycol chemicals.
The object of the method is to prevent the formation of harmful chemicals such as acetaldehyde (AA), COOH end group content (COOH), diethylene glycol (DEG), which increase with the chemical degradation of the PET material from the raw material to the final product.

The present invention relates to a method of inhibiting acetaldehyde, carboxyl end groups and diethylene glycol chemistry when 0.2% of the Mg2B2O5 compound is added to the PET during the injection step. The object of the invention is to prevent the formation of harmful chemicals such as acetaldehyde (AA), COOH end group content (COOH), diethylene glycol (DEG), which increase with the chemical degradation of the PET material from the raw material to the final product.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide healthier pet bottles to use.

All rights related to this recently developed invention have been put under protection of a patent.
