Description

The Polish company is a spin-off company established by researchers from research institutes and universities of sciences in order to commercialize the process of manufacturing soft magnetic nanoceramic composite and its derived products for applications at high frequencies.  A mix of fresh ideas, creativity, enthusiasm and years of experience in both the scientific and business help the researchers to create a unique team. 
The company produces electronic components, such as power inductors, chokes, transformers etc., which are able to transfer high electric power through the small volume. This is extremely important for electronic device manufacturers because an extension of functionality of novel smartphones, tablets and other electronics significantly increases their power consumption. As a result, commonly available solutions are not able to meet the growing requirements. Therefore, the company’s components are very promising for the electronic market in the nearest future.
The company offers soft magnetic composite based on iron and boron nitride as well as components made from this composite using innovative sintering technology. The material, components are made from, does not include any organic additives what extends their application temperature range. At the same time, the eco-friendly and low cost patented method of production gives a huge competitive advantage in the global market. The company’s components can reduce the size, weight and even cost of the mass market electronic devices including laptop and smartphone power supply, converter for PV system and many others.

Iron boron nitride nanoceramic is a kind of the soft magnetic composite characterized by high saturation of magnetic flux and high electric resistivity. The low cost method of production of Iron boron nitride nanoceramic is based on the patented technology. Due to application of high temperature and high pressure iron grains become to be well separated by thin layer of boron nitride, forming the structure similar to that of core shell.
Obtained structure allowed significantly increase the electric resistivity with minor influence on the magnetic induction. High resistivity considerably reduces the eddy currents which are critical problem for high frequency applications. The excellent magnetic and electric properties of iron boron nitride nanoceramic make it very promising for applications especially at high and very high frequencies (up to microwaves). Iron boron nitride nanoceramic is focused on using in the high frequency applications as inductors, filters, high power transformers etc. The method of production of iron boron nitride nanoceramic is on TRL7 level (technology was verified in the operational conditions) and the company is able to further develop the technology.

The company offers also wide range of services including: new materials development, electromagnetic measurements and prototyping.

The company is looking for a reliable technology partner with whom a product ready for commercialization will be developed through:
- commercial agreement with technical assistance - direct sales of the company's components to client
- joint venture agreement - product development together with another company (cooperation of engineers from both companies). The final product will contain the company's components. A long-term contract will be signed for the delivery of the components to the client's product.
- license agreement - production and sales of the electronics components under own brand with the company's license. The license will include the use of the company's production technology and/or material composition
- research cooperation agreement - research project including study of soft magnetic materials, electronic components, electronic devices. The research include also basic research that may be financed by the industry or external founds (e.g. EU)

The company have R&D department with access to chemical and physical measurements laboratories. It allows to develop new products, technologies and the adjust the products that meet the specific requirements of the customer. The company uses high pressure high temperature press (sintering up to 8 GPa and 2000 oC), a current saturation measurement station and a system for measuring the efficiency of electronic components (coils, transformers) as a function of frequency, applied voltage, current and power (measuring range 0.1-1 MHz, voltage 0.1-25 V, current 0.1-35 A, power up to 200 W). Additionally, in close cooperation with a regional research institute, the company has direct access to its research equipment.
