Polish R&D Institute is seeking project partners with an expertise on rare earth materials and related fields for the development of a proposal. Polish entity is to be coordinator of the R&D project.

Description

Client is seeking partners for project under The Innovative Training Networks (ITN) from the programme Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA).
Coordinator's intention is to prepare common proposal for 36-months long and 3 000 000EUR worth project. The project shall start in September 2020.

Project is to be an interdisciplinary cross-sectoral European Training Network combining world-leading scientists and key stake-holders in the field of rare earth materials.
Partners will share their knowledge from both an academic point of view as well as an industry point of view.

Pre-chosen specific fields on network interests:
- Synthesis and properties of novel rare-earth doped optical materials
- Magnetic properties of rare-earth compounds
- Innovative applications of rare-earths
- Refining, recycling and resources of rare-earths

Coordinator is seeking partners that are experienced in research mostly within the topics mentioned above.

Aim of the project will be to train a new generation of creative, entrepreneurial and innovative early-stage researchers, able to face current and future challenges and to convert knowledge and ideas into products and services for economic and social benefit in a field of usage of rare earth materials.

It will cover the latest research and advances in both the academic and commercial aspects of rare-earths.

Project will raise excellence and structure research and doctoral training, extending the traditional academic research training setting, and equipping researchers with the right combination of research-related and transferable competencies in a field of rare earths. It will provide enhanced career perspectives in both the academic and non-academic sectors through international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral mobility combined with an innovation-oriented mindset.

Partnership of universities, research institutions, research infrastructures, businesses and SMEs is to be composed by the client.

For that purpose Coordinator is seeking 7 independent beneficiaries (R&D Institutes or Universieties) - active in fields mentioned in the section "partner sought" - to fullfill the roles of
WP Leaders of planned workpackages, to help with creating proposal adequate to the specific area of each partner and to participate in dissemination actions.

Consortium is planned to be composed by the end of September (EOI deadline: 10.09.2019).

Coordinator is seeking partners that are experienced in R&D activities mostly within the topics mentioned in the "description" part of the profile.

Coordinator's intention is to compose the coherent consortium consisting of experienced partners, that will handle being WP Leaders of planned workpackages, help with creating proposal and do dissemination actions.
