The in-house laboratory facilities, include high throughput technology to automatically prepare (coating) formulations and polymers, in parallel and on small scale (80 ml). The company is interested in commercial agreements with technical assistance with partners active in the coating industry, raw material suppliers and formulators.DetailsThe company has its roots in the coating industry and has extensive experience with the development and production of innovative coatings for a variety of applications. The company has a wide international network with research and development institutes and R&D departments of coating industries. In 2009 the in-house laboratory facilities were expanded with high throughput technology. This enables the company to automatically prepare (coating) formulations and synthesize polymers, in parallel and on small scale (80 ml). This HT equipment can handle liquids, viscous liquids (up to 500 Pa.s) and solids and has independently controlled reactors. Ingredients can be added to the reactor, whilst processing in the reactor. Workflows that can be handled are, dispersing of coatings (via dissolver blade), stirring up to 6000 rpm, heating up to 250 °C, reflux, heating/cooling gradients and continues or batch feeding. In this way the development of coatings and polymers with specific characteristics and specifications, can be done very efficiently.
